My MD 128 Mill with hydraulic loaders.  Set on trailer with 4' risers.  Hydraulic power system sets separate from trailer, track asnd trailer can be expanded to cut 24' logs. 


My Logo Sol planer 260, blower, hoses, stainless steel tube to direct dust. 


My big head rig with 52" blade, 200 hp Allis Chalmers diesel, 35cfm compressor, log loaders, etc.

I have been offed the very first full time double 19 1/2" edger blade Mobile Dimesion sawmill.  Ron wants me to prepare for the mill and I must acquire some funds in doing so; therefore the selling and rearranging how I operate my milling operation.  The new mill will provide a new dimension in what I can produce and for whom.

Ok: here we go: 
Model 128 MD Mill
     accessories: hydraulic equipped single axel trailer (four loading arms)
                       log length capacity 18' the way it is equipped.  You can expand the
                       log capacity to 24" by stretching out the trailer tongue and add
                       additional track for the carrage.
                       hydraulic power system is not attatched to the main unit.  It set to
                       to the left side of the operator.
                       there are log stops for when you roll on the logs with the loaders.
                       There is a kicker system to roll the logs as well.  I rarely use this
                        portion of the mill and have disconnected the device along with the
                        log roller.
                        You will need to acquire your own pental hitch ring for the tongue.
                        Price is definete at $25,000

     Power: 200 hp Allis Chalmers diesel
 
     virtually brand new 35 cfm air compressor

     air motor to power log loaders to main holding deck to the log stop

     flat belting will have to be replaced that is attatched to the jack shaft sytem placed
     on the orignal drive shaft.

     Telladega log carrage with three hand set system.

     two sets of power rollers, uppers and lowers

     sawdust drag chain all attatched

     52" saw blade

     Whole unit sets at about four feet off of the main deck.

     Price:  $25,000.  I will assist in dismanteling, to a point.   I might negociate on this one.

I placed the official want list with the MD folks last evening, for the first full time duel 19 1/2" edger blades.  Latter part of January, I think.

Carl, it will be an 8 x 12 in one pass.  I plan on limiting the track to cut up to 24' logs, plus as bit, like 10" or so.

Hey are you sure about the cut size, I think when we were setting up the carriage and edger shafts (more than a few years ago) Ron only allowed for a 7" or 7 1/2" cut on the edgers, I could be wrong and they may have gone back to an 8 1/4" cut size, but as I remember, Ron didn't think the larger blade would handle the pressure put on it during sawing.  Because of the fact that the bottom edger is bolted to the shaft and is flush on the bottom.

Thanks for the update, John. I have to talk with im today, as the power company will not allow the equipment necessary to attatch to the grid system.  They say that it will draw too many amps at startup. 

Things may change to the point I will not be able to even get the new mill.
