saw without lube

  I am new to this biz, I bought a turner band sawmill one year ago. That is the mill that runs the blade on rubber tires. I have cut several hundred board feet of lumber. I have cut cedar, fir and port orford cedar with out any lube. I have been very happy with this mill, Have any questions about this saw call me at 360-600-7441

I dont know about cutting those trees without lube green but I assure you the first time you take a 20 wide cut in a WRC that is dry and you are going to want something to cool the blade. 

I run water and pine-sol on my mill and use it mostly to keep the pitch off the blade.  The dry wood, like old poles, I use it more for cooling on the wide cuts.

just finished up a job for a guy , had to saw 27ft 2x12 rafters & other lumber  for his barn. he also had me saw up a couple cedar logs for his posts. All his logs had been down for at least a year or two , no difference in performance and still no lube. all his logs were 27-30 dia logs. This my first saw so I dont know much about cutting with lube ,but this saws claim to fame is cutting without lube. The blade runs cooler on the rubber tires. The only thing I have noticed is the woodmizer blades don't hold up as well as the lennox blades that came with the saw. I only bought the wm blades is because  they have a outlet near my home, I will switch back to lennox. check it out on turnermill.com. The pictures do not show how rugged the mill is.I flew back to new york to check his operation  out before I got my saw and was blown away. he hand builds each and every part. He uses common easy to get bearings some parts you can even get at napa.I want to get my mill down to franks to have him try it out. Hope we can get a shootout  out this way, I would love to compete.
