Hi, I was trying to find a good place for my topic. Not sure - it is good or not. Here to post.
So i have 4 head planer. Every head have a motor 2.2kw and 2700rmp. Head is turning abuoth 3600 speed. Head diameter abouth 120mm. 4 knifes in one. Cuting deep- from zero to 5mm ( my bords is not lig). Bords ( which i want to play in planer) is 120mmm X  30mm.
Abuoth 5 years ago i was fuonded in web some calculators for this. But  yesterday and today i tryed- no succed.

I'd think that feed speed would depend on what kind of finish you want on the wood. My Woodmaster has a variable speed adjustment.  Faster feed speed gives a rougher finish (but it's faster), slower speed gives gives a finer finish.  It gets down to cuts per cm of wood going through.  Are you planing construction lumber or furniture wood?

Oh, "Abuoth" = "About" in American.
