Title: Saturday.....
Post by: joasis on December 18, 2017, 05:40:23 AM
I stopped by our local gun trader, and was drooling over the latest offering of Springfield....a 10mm 1911 with a 6 inch long slide frame, and the "Judge" stopped by.

He wrote this book:

https://www.amazon.com/Unlikely-Warr...likely+warrior

And the talk turned to politics. And with all his years in law practice, and on the bench for 20 years, he said the view is simple: Until, and only until anyone and everyone who has broken the law is prosecuted, nothing will change. He does not think avoiding prosecuting political foes is a slippery slope...he also thinks that as they continue to shake the trees, more low level nuts will fall, and if anyone with balls would move forward, the house cleaning would bear real fruit.

He also believes that each and every "rogue" FBI or DoJ agent involved knew they were breaking the law, and prudence would dictate that they all have something to offer to cover their own illegal acts.

The Judge is in his 90s now....he has seen a lot. He seems pretty healthy....and I hope he is around for many more years.

I think I mentioned this once in a post, but this is the guy who told me his memories of WWII were black and white. He said it was like watching black and white movies......I have heard others say this also....

Sounds like a great guy full of wisdom and speaks the truth too.

I also seem to remember in black and white, most of it.  Especially the bad memories.  There are lots of those.  The bad memories seem to be as prolific as the good ones.  Even the good ones seem to be in black and white.  Why is that?

Never shot a 10mm.  Probably kicks about the same as the .45 ACP I would guess...
