Title: For country and country men
Post by: drobertson on January 17, 2018, 05:06:00 PM
Just about every day I browse through these thread topics, looking for new topics or replies to ongoing ones.  This is one topic that really could use a bit more traffic, JMO,  in that with the current state of affairs with our country and the direction, or lack of direction it seems to be heading.  A prayer for some sort of unity that reduces the amount of divide that seems so prevalent with so many different issues.  I believe in prayer and the Lords' will, so I'll leave it here,  my other thought on prayers needed are for the ones battling this ongoing flu and illnesses related to it.  The flu seems to be taking a grip in our town alone, with young one being hit pretty hard. I'm hoping for a quick end to this flu (season) and praying for those with it a speedy recovery.

I returned here from Florida on 16 Oct. On 17 October I was feeling really crappy. After over 2 months, actually, just this past January 08, I finally feel almost healthy again. Never had this before and don't want it again.

I wonder if God put Trump in the White House because there were many good people that didn't have a voice.

I've heard about this year's flu but nothing around here as far as I know.  I remember reading that the current flu vaccine won't help with anything but last year's flu and that all these years the vaccines that are constantly being pushed don't really help a thing!  And that the past numbers of flu outbreaks are skewed and not real because they include data from other sources or something.  I read it on a site like "real news.com" "true news.com" or something like that.  I thought I had the site saved but I guess I screwed up because I can't find it.

I was/am a believer in the flue vaccine.  I did not have the flu one time between 1973 and 2003.  The military made me start the vaccine back in 1973 and I continued them after I retired in 1997 as it "worked" at least for me.
In April 2003 I got a horrible case of flu that initially they thought was SARS (it was not).  Unfortunately as a result of that incident/illness I am no longer allowed to have the flu vaccine.  I have had the flu several times (3) since then.  Each time I wish I could get/have the flu vaccine but I can't, that is life.  Yes this year the success of it is pathetic but they engineer it to what they think the strains of the next year are going to be.  Nothing is perfect.

One of the big problems with current vaccines is the additives they put in them as preservatives.  Aluminum and embalming fluid for two.  The first causes dementia and Alzheimer, the second I'm not ready for.
