Most any old edger you find has a worn out mandrel and shifting saw hub. The feed roll grip surface also. The last one I rebuilt had over 1/2" worn off the kick back fingers! And all they cut was w. pine. Most of the outfits that built these edgers are gone. You need to have a machine shop at your service and buy the heavy old edger cheap. Then you will have something that is not a toy.
