I could probably use about 50 or more.  I burn as great deal of 32" wood for the Taylor furnaces.

I use forks on loader.
So how do you load a loaded box on trailer

There is forks inside the front of the trailer. 3-point down... Back into box...
3-point lift. Now the front of the box is in the air. The winch lifts the back
of the box...

The cold hard fact is theirs no easy way to handle firewood. We can make small improvements at best. Please let us know if containerizing is worth the effort. Thanks Frank C.

i have been doing it for a few years. I would not want it any other way. I can take the box right out into the woods and load it once. When I need it I hook one up and go...Great way to store fire wood.

Sounds like it's a bit easier, for sure.  Don't have to unload, then stack.  It's already done.  You've taken the handling down to 5 times for each piece - cut with chainsaw/buzzsaw/whatever, into the box, into the house, into the stove, out with the ashes.

Those big liquid bins work ok too, just get rid of the plastic tub inside..

We took one of those cages and strapped it to the loader on a tractor and stood inside for trimming branches off trees around the hedgerows on the farm.  It was secure and safe.

That’s a good idea, but I would have nobody to drive the tractor?

The rare times I do get help I usually wish I had just done it myself.

I've learned that the wife is capable of driving around in a slow gear, a set throttle position and just clutch and brakes and steering to worry about.

Depends on what you are using the loader for, we tried the hydro trannys using them for stacking and loading hay, CLUTCHES worked many times better for us.

I'm on my 3rd Kubota, first was a Gear, 2nd was a Glideshift, and this ones a Hydrostatic..
