Title: WARNING!
Post by: Kirk Allen on November 09, 2009, 09:02:05 AM
If you are using a GAME KING Climbing Stick I would suggest replacing the hardware with stronger bolts!

By the Grace of God I can type this today.  I was on the last step of the first section of steps this morning and the bolt snapped.  The bracket against the tree is strapped to the tree, and the bracket is bolted to the climbing stick.  When the bolt snapped, the stick had nothing to hold it against the tree and had I not been holding on securely on that last step I took I would have come tumbling down.

I ended up hanging from one hand breifley until I could grab with the other then I lowered myself until I could jump.

I found the bolt and its cheap CHINA made crap.  I am heading to the store this morning to have a LONG talk with them.  I already spoke with my attorney and I sure hope for their sake they dont give me any greif over this.
