found this in junk yard had a 1/3 hp 220 v 3 ph singer motor on it, belt driven , motor looks to be 1940esh
union special makes commercial sewing machines, the style of signature that union special is in is the same as on there sewing machine that makes carpet
my wife thinks someone cut up a sewing machine to build this
i cant figger out what its soposed to sharpen

That's a grinder made by union special to sharpen the cutting blade off a serger sewing machine.
