Nothing too complex, just an old slab piece of a maple log with some spalt.  Many layers of poly and had a woman that hand paints boat names on the back sides of boats do the lettering.  Few more coats over the lettering and the final results was pretty cool.

Come on now.............more creativity ;)

Put four nice 'log legs' on the back side........set it upright..........place a nice Espresso Mill on one end a cash register and cups on the other.  You may just be considered 'recession proof'  :D
