And what did Santa bring you?
« on: December 25, 2011, 09:52:20 AM »
Christmas is for the kids, that is the gifts and such....for me, the real meaning is what we are celebrating, and of course, our family being together, but.......Santa brought me a new Leatherman AXL multitool.   ;D

Nothing like a present when you don't expect a present and the present is something you really wanted but won't spend the money on yourself.

So who else was good enough for a visit from Santa?

I got to make sawdust, yesterday.  Sold my tonasdo sawust container.  Sold several pounds of Maple burl.  Provided a tour for some folks from Iowa.  One of which may becme a member, here.  He has a tree service and just purchased a Peterson MIll and slasbber. He sure has the sawust bug, from all indications.

I got a shop fox W1704 mini lathe for making round things.

I have to laugh at the extremes of equipment.  A slabber that will cut 60" wide and lathe that will turn 1/2" pens.

Got a trailer jack to mount on the mill. Getting to hard to unhook with my back, and steps for my truck. Had all the family come over for christmas feast. That was the best gift. Merry Christmas.
