Water Pump said ENOUGH!
« on: June 16, 2012, 09:11:08 PM »
This is the beast forklift I have had for several years and although I had to sink an extra $3500 into a main shaft rebuild a few years ago it has served me quite well...........until today!

Finished gutting and skinning a road kill buck this afternoon and when I parked the forklift I heard a distinct clatter from the engine.  Turns out the belts flew off and the main shaft on the water pump is as loose as a can be.  Bearing is SHOT!

Took it all apart and figured I wouldnt be able to find one for this old beast but to my surprise I found 3 different sources for it.  Range from $120.00 to $185.00

I will call a few places Monday and get one on the way!

Good glad you can get it fixed. Now what about those logs ? They look like they have been laying there for a long time.

Yeah, yeah Kirk, just say anything to look good!  Excuses, excuses.  Have you ever thought about going into politics?
