Great video. Love watching stuff like that. Thanks, I'm not sure I like making the video stuff, but if someone likes it...well, that is good enough for me to keep doing them.Did you ever pull off a blade backing it up without lifting the head a bit?Nope, but I guess it could if I cut enough 'stress' out of the timber, and it 'rebounded' after I completed the cut?Where do you store your wood?I air dry just about everything I cut, so it is stickered all over the place in the backyard. I'm running out of things to cover it with though.....eventually I need to 'make something' to put it under...but still air dry them.Have you decided what your planning to build with the wood?Yes. I'll will be making a cedar post-n-beam structure for the mill. At least that is the first thing I plan on building.... Been studying the construction blueprints from several places, and reading everything I can find about engineering limits and such about this design. Plan on using at least 10"sq main beams for the uprights and then I can go from there on everything else(might be over-engineered, but I don't want to have to 'fix' things later)The 'general' milling I do now is for blanks and want-not for the website. And today I get to cut 4/4 boards for a local fella that made a 'drop off' of Eastern Red Cedar logs this past Wednesday morning. It's only four logs but on a manual set-up....well it'll take me a little while. Thanks for sharingYour welcome! Thank you for the question and comments.....
