Out here, you could really do some high lead logging with that rigging.

Now there is an idea!  I wonder if that would be feasable for the project SteveM is pursuing.

Yes it would, Kirk.  The trouble many of the cutters are having with the site areas is the steepness of the ground, setting the rigging.  ONe outfit has already lost a cutter due to the dangerous conditions of the pickup sticks type setting of the logs and widdow makers hanging up in the snags.

I have spoken with some fellas and they refuse to work in the area, due to the dangerous issues.

:laugh:Hey Buzz Sawyer,  I used to love it. It has changed very much in the last 5 to 10 years. This is a good job, but when we're hanging steel, it's just not like it used to be. Over half of the iron workers don't speak english and that makes it very much hard.
I want to run my mill.   ;D

Just a note about the Panthers. My crane sits about 15 feet from there gym, I look out of my window and into theres. I hate to say it but Charlotte has a bunch of little guys on there team. Had I known someone that small could play pro ball I might have tried harder when I played. I'm a stocky built but smaller guy (5'8" tall & 180lbs) and I'm as big or bigger than most of there players. There are a few bigguns but none to be scared of. I wonder if this has anything to do with there record?
