electric blade hieght adjust

Hi Folks
I just bought a Canadian Board Master sawmill from an estate auction. It has not been used for at least 7 years. Everything is seized. There is an electric 12V motor to raise the blade> I t has a wire that is not connected to anything and I cannot see where it should be connected. There must be a switch somewhere that controls the motor. Anyone know anything about Canadian Boradmaster saws or where the wire should be connected.
Thanks

Just guessing , I think you need a reversing drum switch like WM uses rated for high amps or it could be set up with some solenoids using a lower amp toggle switch. Those DC motors change the polarity to reverse the motor. Steve
