Well, folks, I am still alive and sawing.   Been some busy times around here.  For your information, Kirk, I finall sold the big Sequoia.   The log became the upper part of the world's largest nuct cracker, 42' all together.  My log was from the chin up, 24'.  Gor in some Western Big Leaf Maple burl stumps, yesterday: one at over 4,000 lbs., one at 2,800 lbs., another at 800 lbs..  The same fellas brought in one, last week at 1,969 lbs., A burl chunk at 2285 lbs. and a Douglas fir burl at 56 lbs..  The last two are alread loaded and being shipped to Southern Georgia.

Sounds as if you are quite busy.  Any pictures of the nutcraker from your Sequoia?

Friday I had a site eval to do while returning from another job and since I was just down the road we took a peek to see if it was still up and how the fishing was.

The river was running full and green, fish were being caught.
(river is running brown now)

As you can see the old man is still standing. The whole light show was still laid out as well.
