Yep, with a "bad attitude" like that you would have been booted over there just like me.  Folks who don't toe the line are not welcomed at the Forestry Forum.  You're not missing anything, really.

Jeff the Meek moved it so that we "non members" can't read it and chuckle about it.  I'm surprised he didn't delete it.  But wait...he absolutely doesn't delete posts, right?!?  Hmm.  I know for a fact he's deleted a few of mine that made him look "slightly bad".

Oh - and HI JEFF!  HOPE THINGS ARE GOING HORRIBLY FOR YOU.  YOU DESERVE NOTHING LESS.

Boy oh boy, am I glad I'm not Jeff Brokaw.  There are many, many lies and much deceit and deplorable behavior that needs paying for.  His life will not be very pleasant before the end.  At least he won't be lonely - there's many, many people like this, unfortunately for the rest of us.

Stay tuned for another influx of those who will no longer tolerate Jeff Brokaw.  Also, stay tuned for him to hold yet another pity party help me, fundraiser, as it is the holiday season.

And for those who have read the comments on the FF, don't be fooled as the one in charge of the server can, in fact, go into the files and read messages if they choose.

I will never do that but all need to know your messages can be viewed by a creep running the server. When we set this up I spent hours learning and for a noncomputer guy, I figured it out.  The files are there and nothing is secret, especially with Jeff Brokaw and I believe you will find posts where I first disclosed that here.

I remember you talking about that before, Kirk, and your transparency is just one of the many things I like about being here.  You guys in this forum are unmatched.

I have no doubt in my mind Jeff has read private messages written by the members there.  He's a low down sneak thief who has no equal that I've ever met.  Hell, he acts like a socialist/communist with a lot of his ways.

I'm wondering if he needs to seek some mental help.  Normal people don't act that way.  Do they?  I don't get off the mountain much these days...

Unbelievable.  Banning for asking a question.  Hell, I was banned for telling the truth and not backing down when asked about it, in addition to talking about it here.  Claimed I was giving "free advertising" for Cutting Edge by suggesting him whenever somebody wasn't happy with their blades.  Said "that's how I make my money is through advertising".  Cutting Edge is a representative of Kasco blades which is a sponsor of that forum.  Friggin' guy is just like the fascists he claims to not like.  What do you call a jerk who talks out of both sides of his mouth and has a power problem which likely coincides with small body parts?  Answer:  Jeff

Thank God for Sawmill and Timber Forum.

Jeff is one of the most unfriendly persons that i know of.
I'll never forget how he put me down because I sharpen
my band saw blades with a dremel. He laughed at me...
I miss the place but I sure don't miss him... there was

Welcome, kbeitz.

Same here - sometimes I miss the place and most of the guys, but not the management and the walking on eggshells part.  Here you're free to say what and when you want.  And guess what?  We all get along just fine!  Not bad for a bunch of deplorables, eh?

Edit:  I made a mistake and sounded like I contradicted myself and so fixed it!

Well I got into this whole sawmill thing just last year, and was never part of the forestry forum. I kind of wish I had been, I've been tossed from a couple forums in my days, another one might have been fun! I do not ever walk on eggshells I just say what I think so I'm sure I'd have been banned at some point...

Glad I'm here though, even if I am an old sawmill rookie!

Jeff isn't an expert at anything except being a lying S.O.B.

Point: There isn't a damn thing wrong with having the skill to sharpen any kind of teeth with any tool or technique you can if the results are satisfactory.

I saw some halfwit (probably named Jeff) bitching and complaining about machinists who think they can sharpen twist drills by hand...saying it is not possible. Well.....I learned how and can still do it today...1/2 inch or 2 and 1/4 inch, matters not...give me a decent grinding wheel or even a belt grinder and I can make it cut beautifully.

I had no problem sharpening my inserts with a file either....I didn't need a jog to hold any set...it was all in the technique. How many old men could have file a handsaw and it would cut like new? It was a skill of necessity....if you know how the teeth need to be ground, and you can do it with a Dremel, then you win the prize of not having to by an expensive sharpening set up.....

I had a guy show me 4 years ago how to hand sharpen drill bits.  It is a very nice skill set to put in your tool bag of skills.  Anyone who says that you can't do it is flat wrong.  Now I probably would not do a 1/16 drill bit but when you get up to  the larger more expensive bits it can save a lot of money and is better than one of those Drill Doctor devices.

that is a skill I wish I could master. I can't even do it with the drill doctor.
