Holy crap!  That thing's a monster!  Is there any way you'd be able to get a video of it when you are comfortable running it?  Maybe get it on youtube and link us to it or something?  I'd love to see it run and all the gadgets getting used.  It's a lot to look at, that's for sure.  Where did you find it?

Well I found this mill tucked back off the beaten path sitting where the old green chain for a 1948 sawmill....
That mill is complete from the pond to the wigwam...
Primary saw is a. Bandsaw...
Uses a pair of resaw Bandsaws... Side-by-side one fixed the other movable... Each of the 12 trim saws even have extra belts on the shaft so belts can be changed without separating the shaft... This place can be fired up and ran.... The mill shut down in 73.... 40 man crew it had a planner as well.... All got walking papers when the county insisted that the mill site be paved.... Last two shifts ran 65,000 bft and 72,000 bft... Record
production was 125,000 bft...
...
Not sure what the production rate was for the portable mill when it was at a mill site in White City where it last made sawdust about 20 years ago...

I second the motion of a video of it running.  A Long video.   ;)

I don't think there has ever been a sawmill too big, too heavy or too powerful, when you roll a big log on you need it all. Frank C.

I have two old sawmill sites with 3 phase available....
We are milling pine at one now with the LT-40D and the cook's mill..... And Oak at the other using the LT-70 and the new LT-40G .... The Oak site is 70 miles closer to home so is the preferred site.... This mill should free up two of the smaller mills....

Wow - it sounds like you're really taking the bull by the short and curlies!  When do you think you'll have the big new one up and running?
