Finally getting back to reading this forum. Been up to my nose hairs in projects and work. Place was about dead last time I checked, but, seems it's getting pretty lively now.
Anyway, all arms and ammo is illegal down here, in the jungle. I have a little for protection and the local police know what I have TOLD them I have. Also, all the thieves, (it's part of their culture) know to NOT come up here because they will not go home if they do.
Problem is, I'm getting too old to run these hills, so, my Son just bought me a trail cam, so I can identify who I need to look for. Now, to just get it down here. Last 3 trips to Fl, I have had stuff stolen from my checked bags and had a real face to face go with the paid for profit TSA supervisor that stole stuff I had in my carry on bag.
I did everything but punch the guy, but, he just smiled and took what he deemed "Dangerous", a 6" grinder wheel and all the cup washers and nuts for the mandrel shaft in my checked bag. Also, they tried their best to steal a like new Dewalt angle grinder and metal lathe cross feed and ended up breaking the supports that hold the extendable handle tracks, that we had screwed plumbers strapping around to prevent theft. I had/have photos of the strapping so I had proof of possession. Told him I didn't NEED things to take someone out, but, again, he just smiled.
Yesterday, I found out what becomes of all the confiscated stuff from the TSA. It is sold in lots at designated areas and a BIG percentage of the proceeds goes back to the TSA for doing the govt's dirty work of more control on AMERICANS lives. Meanwhile I watched a towel head wrapped passenger go right through the metal scanner wearing a watch, glasses and NEVER being questioned.
Also, I have been singled out the last 3 trips, for the pat downs and bag checks in CR at the gate. I always throw my arms straight up instead of out. Makes them go crazy.
