Thanks for the new section
« on: January 05, 2018, 06:28:22 AM »
I did ask, and thank you very much!!

It will give us little guys a place to compare notes, ways to do things and outcomes! But you big outfits please toss in your 2 cents as well.. you are the guys that really know what's going on!

At this time I've no mill, been looking for several months and am leaning heavily towards a Woodland Mills HM126. WAY at the top of my budget, but it'll fare better than some of the cheaper and smaller ones I started looking at.

All you hobby guys join in!!

And THANKS MUCH to the staff here for adding this!

I liked the staff part, made me chuckle.

They're not picking on you or laughing at you, AO.  They're jabbing at the other big forum that's always crying poverty and needing lots of money to keep running and paying people, and on and on.

Well, I consider all but the huge commercial mills, even circle mills to basically be hobby mills, just different degrees of hobby mills.
I know some make their living with them, but I still consider the mill itself a hobby mill, unless it is a big production commercial mill.
