Ox. Need more info.
What kinda king we talking here ? We live on my huge SS income especially with the generous $2.00/month raise we just were awarded, $830.00/month.
We own our little piece of paradise, and the taxes are lenient. We have just under 3 acres and are way up near the top of a hill and less than 1/2 mile from the blacktop road.
Our biggest expense is food. You would think that owning acreage would be an easy way to grow most of our food, but, I have abandoned a garden 3 times for lack of interested support.
We have no registered car so no expenses for that, we use the bus system.
I plan out the expenses so we never run short of money, but, we get close sometimes, because of the projects or lack of info from the wife when something she forgets? to tell me about, shows up.
I married a CR woman, so I get permanent residency, but, usually, $50,000.00 in a CR bank or running a business that employs at least 6 CR workers is necessary to dodge the 90 days in country, then 3 days out system to deter deadheads. IF you are a Nicaraguan, you get all the frills including some payment, even though they are not always legally here.
I would suggest a visit and see for yourself if you and your significant other ? would like it here. We have a spare room for a couple of days and you can travel around to different areas because there are micro-climates all over CR because of the marshland to the highest mountains and the volcanos, 5 I believe.
There are a lot of different ways to live here and we have no A/C or heat, so that's a non expense. Other areas you NEED A/C to break the humidity in the house.
Pm if you want to discuss things further and get a list of questions ready.
Forgot, we can also Skype on the computer for free if'n yaonto.
