Had to share

My advisors have recommended that I not write about this controversy but I owe you. I write as a military veteran and political scientist who has traveled to Ukraine, the Middle East, Helsinki, USSR to study up close.

Fact 1. The world's two greatest nuclear powers should be friendly. That is in the interest of the world!

Fact 2. Tonight the greatest criticisms come from two major groups:
A. Those who hate Trump and who will criticize the President for anything he does.

B. Those few in the military and intelligence communities who are wholly bought and owned by the war industries, for it is in their financial interests to have the US and Russia armed to the teeth and at each other's throats.

As you listen to the shrill screamers, note how often they come from this corner (politicians included)!

Fact 3. The absolute truth is that the Obama administration interfered in the Ukraine elections which led to Russia's predictable takeover of the area which holds Russia's major naval base and sea outlet.

Fact 4. The Obama administration interfered in the election of Israel. Strong Nations do this when they feel that it is their interests to do so.

Fact 5. The alleged Russian interference occurred during the Obama administration, and we heard not a peep. Now these jerks want Trump to punch Putin in the nose and start a nuclear war with the other major nuclear force on Earth.

I'm a patriot and a believer in a powerful America. I have also witnessed the body bags filled with the fruit of American youth when fat old saber rattlers play soldier.

Trump was masterful in Helsinki. The Swamp Donkeys may scream but tonight the world is better off that these two men shook hands!

I agree with you and back what you said 100%.  Well said.

At this point, Trump could find the cure to cancer and it would be totally wrong for him to do so and therefore must be stopped immediately!  The mental illness and Trump derangement syndrome from the left and from the deep state government officials is sickening.

If the election were held tomorrow, myself and nearly everyone I know would put Trump back in, for another four years.  The more they knock the man, the more popular he becomes.  One thing for sure, he has a set of balls.  I like that.  After watching Obama pussyfoot around for eight years, I'm ready for some testosterone in the White House.

Amen to that!  Countless millions of Americans agree with you too.

I was thinking back to when the Dems were whining about voter fraud and wanted re-counts.  Every time they counted again it was found to be cheating in the Dems' favor!  Asshattery runs amok with these turds.

That bitch is crazier than hell.  Every single snapshot I've seen she's got them wild crazy liberal eyes.  She's a proven liar, BEFORE she was elected, and they voted for her anyway.  She'll be president one day, but after Cuomo is.  She's the "new face" of the left movement.  Makes me sick to my stomach.  And the dumb shit she spews forth from her disgusting infected chew hole?  Madness.  It's like reading what a dumb highschool blonde cheerleader would babble about.  She's an embarrassment to have as a "government official".

She said "one good thing about the gov't shutdown is that people now have more time on their hands to cause trouble".  F'n traitor.

Personally I like AOC, which which in the industrial world means abnormal operating conditions, kinda fits in my thinking. lol
The thing I ilke about her is she is picking up equally stupid followers in both the congress and senate, which has Pelosi and Schumer both stumped, they know their pie in the sky, give everybody everything policies, even those unable or UNWILLING to work, will guarantee trump an easy victory in 2020, but they can't (so far come up with a way to reign them in without risking losing a sizeable voting block, thatthey desperately need .

Let her babble about cow farts at least for the next two years.

In my opinion Trump has done more than any other president than any other in my lifetime, and with out a doubt he has tried harder than any other to do the things he claimed he would do during the campaign.

I don't know.  The so called gifts of  Ocasio Cortez are indeed obvious,  but have you seen some of the stuff from Ilhan Omar the new Minneapolis representative and her comments?
Now I heard the bimbo reference on Ocasio Cortez.  I had to look up the real definition of bimbo versus what I perceived the term to mean.  I can clearly state that I don't think she meets all the criteria as described in the definition so I can't call her one.  There are other terms for here however.  You figure out which one I don't think she meets.

I even read some reports of investigations that showed that she married her brother for immigration fraud purposes.  If course she denies it and they got divorced in Dec 2017 but the back story on the immigration frauds that have been going on with the Somalia immigrants are mind boggling.  Not saying that she was part of it but there is evidence that really need sot be looked at but it seems that folks are afraid to really investigate it.

For some strange reason Dumbacrat politicians get a pass on any investigations, even if they do have one and they find they broke the law, no charges are EVER filed, and it has been that way for years. It seems like if they can manage to get elected, they are good to go from then on.

bimbo:  an attractive but unintelligent or frivolous young woman.

Yeah, I don't find her attractive.  She's definitely frivolous and unintelligent.  Two outta three ain't bad, right?  lol  She's cheering that Amazon is pulling out of NY as where they want to build their headquarters (I think it was) and all the jobs and money that entails.  She also wants to tax "the rich" at 70% to pay for her crazy ass Green New Deal that will get rid of ALL air travel in favor of railways and stop the evil farting cows that are causing global warming.  ::)  Apparently 70% of people wanted Amazon here because it's good for the economy in a run down, taxed to death state.  So, to recap, she wants to tax the rich but then applauds when the richest guy in the world pulls out of the state.  Only in a liberal's infected and diseased mind is this OK.  Unbelievable.

 - This goes to show that the socialist regime runs deeper than anybody has ever known.  There are very powerful people in this world that truly want a socialist regime in America.  I don't know why or how, but you can bet it keeps them in power, makes them more powerful, and makes them more money.

There's been lots of talk these last 10 to 15 years about a shadow government that's actually the ones running things.  I think everything we have seen and know points toward this being true.

I do not know about an actual shadow government, but for sure the ones pulling the strings, has not in the past been who we elected, at least on the bigger issues. That is the reason dems and repubs alike fought and still to this day fight Trump tooth and nail. He has his own idea, of what America should be, and it does not line up with the major players on the world stage.

I'm amazed at how stupid some of these Democrats AR when it comes to what they think is right. years ago our high school principal ran for State Democrat position in one and done some good things for our state I thought I asked him one time why you didn't run for the national level and he said that the party would not allow his style of democrat to get out of the state government because it didn't fit their agenda

Sounds about right.  Conservative democrats used to be a thing.  Now there seems to only be radical democrats, ie socialists/communists.  There are still conservative dems scattered about but they're remaining pretty quiet.  They've lost their party and they know it and know if they speak out of turn their liberal cohorts will attack them with no mercy.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a new major political party formed because of the crazy liberal left.

On a separate note:  I watched a short video on Trump supporters vs. ANTIFA and this pink haired loud mouthed bitch was trying to punch and slap our people over and over again.  She also repeatedly spit on them.  I realized I couldn't ever be at something like that because I would not be able to control myself.  I would go to jail for crushing this horrible beast's face with my fist and I would make MAGA supporters look bad and of course it would be plastered all over the news.  I wouldn't do that to any MAGA supporters...  Anyway, after her repeated attacks and constant screaming of gibberish that I couldn't understand, I heard her scream "You're inherently violent!!!".  I about fell out of my chair.  Our boys showed immense restraint and coolness under pressure.  It ended well when the riot squad showed up out of nowhere, parted the crowd and grabbed this heinous bitch and away she goes.  It was the first time she was quiet in many minutes.

Big problem in our country, we are to rich, have to many resources.  Most people have food and shelter and more. They don't struggle so much and don't learn the lessons of years ago. They have no problem giving up freedoms they have never used or wanted. We could become a 2 class society. Many don't care as long as they are warm and well fed. All the lost freedoms will go to the ruling class.  N.Y. state DOT has painted the bridges here red.  Those of you in my age group will understand.

I have to agree Ox is a relative "kid" in the big scheme of things at 42.  I am 50% older than that and I have no idea either.

Moodnacreek: Please educate those of us that are clueless to what you reference.

Maybe moodnacreek's age group is in his 20's and that is why we are all clueless to what it represents.
Maybe it is a NY thing and that is why we don't know, but Ox has not idea and he is a NY kind of guy.

I just wrote a bunch of stuff about age and all that, venting, and how I've heard the same pile of puppy shit from older guys all my life, all the while doing the same work they are, having the same troubles they are, having the same worries they have, etc.  What gives?  Does one's age make one better or worse than another?  Bullshit.

I deleted all I wrote because I didn't want to offend anyone.

Age is only a number - it's all in how you carry yourself and how your body behaves.

Everybody seems bewildered that I'm not older than dinosaur shit.  Why?  Did you think differently of me before you knew my age?  What bloody difference does it make?

Here I am, shaking my head, STILL wondering "what the hell?" about people and still being confused about them.

Well I hope I did not incite a misunderstanding with my  "Ox is a relative "kid" in the big scheme of things at 42" as that was not my intent at all.
I was merely commenting upon the fact that those of use that are approaching "geezerville" did not get the reference to red bridges which Ox had already made by saying that he did not get it and was 42.  Harold made a comment that he did not get it either and he was twice the age of Ox.

So lets see: the 60plus crowd does not get the reference; the 40plus crowd does not get the reference; so the question that I have is what is the age group that moodnacreek represents that knows what the red bridge is all about.  Inquiring minds want to know what a red bridge means in NY.  It appears that most of us have no idea.

By the way Ox I bet your kids think you at 42 are older than "dinosaur shit".
Remember when you thought 30 was old.  (Actually I never did but I was weird when I was younger.  Well I am still weird some one would say)

Does one's age make one better or worse than another? Absolutely not, age has nothing to do with it. Actions are what matters.

Old used to be 70 in my thinking. Now my thinking has changed, it is 80 to be old.  Ask me in 5 years and it will be 85 and soon you will have to be 90 for me to consider someone to be old.
I will never get old.  I REFUSE.

Whoa, I didn't expect this.  Red is the communist color.  Back in the day the ultra liberals said they would rather be red than dead. Our bridges where green , before that silver and before that blue. At one time the public would not have allowed red.

Actually back in my day they were just called communists, I must be older than you by a bit.  The term ultra liberal is a relatively new term.

I never heard the  slogan "better red than dead"  the only slogan I heard was "better dead than red".    I Googled and apparently there were dueling slogans back in the day.  Where they were dueling it did not state but where I grew up you would have suffered immensely if you used the one slogan.
Of course I did not grow up in NY but in the Midwest where people tended to be a bit less radical, both then and now.

As to the bridges being red, are you stating that in NY they started painting the bridges red to indicate sympathy with the communists (USSR)  life style over the US way of life????

I owe an apology.  I jumped the gun and (clearly!) it was because the whole age thing is one of my biggest pet peeves.

Harold, I understand now how you meant what you said.  Tone of voice is so hard to convey in the typed word.  You see how I took it, and I was wrong.  You owe me NO apology!  I owe YOU an apology for assuming (you see the first three letters in assume?) what you meant.  Sorry.

Furu, all you had to do was mention something about me "being a relative kid" and I was seeing a little red (no pun intended with red bridges and all!).  Sorry.

See?  I'm SO BAD at understanding people.  I find it so exhausting trying to understand people much of the time that it's just easier to be a hermit.  This is what comes naturally to me so I go with it.  I stay on my mountain surrounded by my old stuff and I'm relatively happy.

Speaking of old stuff, I just picked up an old lathe, open gear drive, no name tags or numbers anywhere on it.  I'm thinking it once had ID tags riveted somewhere but I don't find anything after scraping many layers of chipping paint off.  I estimate it to be from the late 20s, early 30s or so.  It has all the basic fixin's to turn parts.  It came from a fella the wife works with in the tool room and he never used it and wanted to make room for what he really wants and let me have it and a bunch of tooling and fixtures for $75.  It took me over 20 years but I finally have one.  Now to find an old milling machine and I'll be all set.

Sorry for the way I am, guys.  I simply can't help it sometimes.  I do try - I really do.  I appreciate your candor.  Thanks for that.  Eating crow sucks but it's what honest people need to do sometimes.  Others may have just remained silent for fear of looking foolish but I need to always stand up and be truthful and honest.

And AO - you're a rascal!  Your name reminds me of a junkyard that used to be around way back when.  I barely remember it.  There's a picture of it in one of the family albums, with a sign that says Ass O's Salvage.  Relative of yours?  ;) >:D

What it boils down to, in my mind, is how times change.  You would think [or I would] that with the failure of the communist empire , that we would want to preserve or freedoms here more than ever rather than expect or government to provide everything for us.

I know when I first heard the red state blue state thing 20 years back I  was confused as  the convention had always been that red was for liberal/democrats and blue was for conservative/Republican.
Boy was I ever wrong with that interpretation.

I have never looked up what the derivation was as to how it came into being until just now.  Now I know.  It was the news media who coined the term red state blue state and the fact that it reversed the long standing convention and who did it tells me all I need to know as to the bias and why he did it.

AGENDA'S

There is always an agenda from both sides but the agenda to sow confusion with the intent to mislead in most cases seems to be one-sided and media related.

See Below from Wikipedia

"Red state" and "Blue state"

Since the 2000 United States presidential election, red states and blue states have referred to states of the United States whose voters predominantly choose either the Republican Party (red) or Democratic Party (blue) presidential candidates.   Since then, the use of the term has been expanded to differentiate between states being perceived as liberal and those perceived as conservative.  Examining patterns within states reveals that the reversal of the two parties' geographic bases has happened at the state level, but it is more complicated locally, with urban/rural divides associated with many of the largest changes.

All states contain both liberal and conservative voters (i.e. they are "purple") and only appear blue/red on the electoral map because of the winner-take-all system used by most states in the Electoral College.   However, the perception of some states as "blue" and some as "red" was reinforced by a degree of partisan stability from election to election—from the 2000 election to the 2004 election, only three states changed "color" and as of 2016 fully 38 out of 50 states have voted for the same party in every presidential election since the red/blue terminology was popularized in 2000.

The choice of colors reverses a long-standing convention of political colors whereby red symbols (such as the red flag or red star) are associated with left-wing politics and right-wing movements often choose blue as a contrasting color.   Indeed, until the 1980s Democrats were often represented by red and Republicans by blue.   According to The Washington Post, the terms were coined by journalist Tim Russert during his televised coverage of the 2000 presidential election. That was not the first election during which the news media used colored maps to depict voter preferences in the various states, but it was the first time a standard color scheme took hold; the colors were often reversed or different colors used before the 2000 election.

You'd probably be labeled as a closet racist trying to look like you're not one, and that this is the entire reason the U.S. was never "that great to begin with"*

*this was actually said by the traitorous piece of crap governor of NY Andrew Cuomo.

For what it's worth, one of the top leading Democratic Liberals, Kamala Harris, doesn't want anyone to know her family just a few generations back was a leading slave owning family in Jamaica.  Perfect.  lol

Oh no, you are bad wrong. In 1980, I ordered a new pickup with 4X4 4spd with a 400 motor. It came in and was a 351, which I wouldn't have. They tried to tell me I had to take it because the 400 was no longer available with a 4spd behind it, which was true.  I went looking for a 79 that was still on a lot with a 460 in it instead, 2 wheel drive and auto, but it would work for me.

I bought the ugliest color ever put on a vehicle brand new, pea green. They made some that color that was t -tone with a jade green, that looked pretty good, but what I found was butt ugly. lol

I had a 1974 Gran Torino that was a very light blue.  It was almost comical and I hated it.  In 74 Ford called it "wind blue".  I repainted it.  There was simply no other car like it anywhere around.  I don't like sticking out like a sore thumb, especially with the way cops were and are around here.

That old Torino was among a couple other vehicles that were absolutely reliable in my life.  After giving the basic tune ups and changing belts and hoses, etc. it never gave me a lick of trouble in several years of ownership.  It rode good, handled good, looked good and sounded good with a 351W.  I can't count how many people asked me why I didn't paint it like Starsky and Hutch's Torino.  Same exact cars, though.  Mine looked exactly like theirs with Keystone Classic rims and bigger tires on the back.  I painted mine black with a dark gray wide stripe down the hood and trunk, with the vinyl cabin top the same color.  It looked sharp.  It just started rusting real bad and then she started losing power and I didn't think it'd be a good investment to try to keep it, so off it went to a demo derby guy for $400.  This is back in around 2000.  He won several rounds with the old girl, and she was still running when he scrapped her.  I remember the front bumper was held on with a block of solid steel 1" thick on each side for the mounts.

Golly, I like trips down memory lane.  Reminds me there used to be a better place in time.

First off, that crazy witch who's complaining Amazon took those billions from New York, due to pulling out and moving half of its corporate, when asked how she planned on paying for her socialist program's on nation wide tv she said "simple just print more money"     Apparently she never studied much of anything in school, like history or economics.

Next if that is her "plan" to pay for her socialist programs, why did she even comment on Amazon at all, all she needed to do was print more money to cover the shortage??

Now the seriously scary part of all this is, first she's actually that stupid, and second, all those that put her in office are equally stupid because they not only agree and listen to her, but they voted for her to represent them?? its how they all think??

If you think what's going on is bad, just hang on a while, I'm pretty sure its only going to get worse.

I'm pretty sure my grandpa had it right, all any politician has to do is lick and kiss 50 percent of the voters ass's plus one and he or she has lifetime job security, whether they actually do anything worthwhile is not the issue................he said that back in the 1920's and I think its still valid today.

Supposedly she has a degree in economics, but made a living as a bartender. lol So much for a degree these days.

It looks as quite a sum of money has been shuffled around to where it no longer exists in her campaign fund, it just may be she isn't quite as dumb as she makes out.
