My kind of saw job!
« on: April 01, 2008, 06:09:56 PM »
These are some shots from one of my local saw jobs last summer.  The guy I cut for is a line-man with the power company and over the years we have become freinds.  Great family man with several adopted/foster kids.  He knows what having good equipment to help means too. ;D

The begining pile :o

Let the loading begin!

Stinking old poles cant make any good lumber ???

If I recall, the cant in this pic was 16" wide and clear the whole 18' length!   ;D

These are what they call Black Bettey's.  Creasote poles!  Made some fine sill plates!

Didnt have enough in the first pile when we started so he brought some more :o :D ;D

This was one of 2 loads I got for the day of cutting!  Western Red Cedar and a portion of it now wraps around Buzzsawyers deck!   ;D

This was my first commerical job. I cut all the trim for this covered bridge. Most of it was 18" wide. 8)

A very nice job to have, WB.  Each time you are through the bridge you shared in helping build, you have a great memeory or two, for sure.
