CBN Grinding Wheels

I had purchased the CBN upgraid kit to my WM sharpener about 6 months ago but until today didnt have the time to install everything.
Spent a couple hours doing the install after church and and threw on an old blade and to my total amazement its the sharpest thing that has ever come off of my sharpener. WM did a bang up job on making the upgrade a peice of cake.
The CBN wheel is the exact profile and when the wheel comes down it does it all in one stroke while the blade is stationary. As soon as it bottoms out the wheel lifts and the blade is pushed forward automatically.
CBN wheels is what they use for the resharp program and although I purchased mine from a freind in Canada they do now offer them in the US. I highly reccomend it for anyone doing there own blades.

Mike, sorry for missing this.
I purchased the upgrade kit which was splash gaurds, cams and grinding wheels. The basic sharpener is still the same.
Frank, if you using WM blades send them away!

im wondering about building a pan & pump setup to convert mine from dry grind but if its an oil base lube it could get messey quick

Its an oil base lube.
THe old system used a water based lube but they said with the CBN wheels it works best with oil.
