Hey Boys N Girls, I've been looking at the mobile dimention mill, I think I want one of them babys. Can some of you that have them post some pix for me and give me the pros and cons of MD sawmills?

WB, look under the topic area of Circle MIlls, by Buzz,  He a Kirk were out a few weeks ago and took whole bunches of pictures.  The title of the topics dealt with "giant weeds".

I don't have any pictures, but I did drive down to the Mobile Dimension shop last Wednesday to check things out.  The folks working there were very helpful and I had the chance to look at several mills in various stages of assembly.  When I got there, they were demonstrating a gas mill they had just finished building and I was impressed with how well it cut. I think it had the 57hp motor instead of the 67hp and it still had plenty of power to plow through the log.

I'd really like to buy one of their electric mills (25hp main blade and 15hp edger) later this year if I can get 3 phase power here without breaking the bank.  If not, I'll probably buy the gas version with the 67hp motor and build a roof over the mill with one or two sides closed in.

Good for you DaveK.  I always enjoy a trip to the factory as well.  I sure wish that we could get Ron to go for the larger edger blade designed mill; with two 19" edger blades full time.   I know they have the carrage and all designed, but not yet built them.  I know of at least 10 or 12 of us who would buy one in a heartbeat.

I enjoyed the demo/tour of the factory.  If we weren't in the middle of building a new home, I probably would have signed the paperwork for a new mill when I was there
