New toy
« on: July 26, 2008, 08:46:11 AM »
Going to pick up a new tractor today, I believe.  It is a 1939 International A with a 16" single bottom plow.  It even said to run.  We will see.  It is a hand crank.  That ought do some good things to my shoulders and arms. ;D

Got it home and in the mill yard.  All of the tin is in marvelous shape, no dents or rusted out part, anywhere. ;D

NOw, Alice's smile was something else, again.

What ever you do Frank make sure you don't shift your back side to far to one side or the other.  We wouldn't want that Golden Horshoe to come out  :D :D

I have just been told that the shrouding (tin work) is worth twice what I paid for the whole tractor.  Someone told me that the grill is in such great original shape that I could get $500 fsor that alone.   I am not that hungry yet, to scrap the tractor out.
