eyes
« on: November 11, 2008, 09:43:11 PM »
Well, this Thursday, Iwill be getting theifrst ot two cuttings on my eyes, to remove cateracks (sp).   Then a week later, I will have the other one dosne.  What a deal.  I will not be able to lift anything greater than 20 pounds.  Then, two days after the second operation, Alice goes under the knife for the third time.  Perhaps this time whe will do as she is told.   >:(  She will be out of commission for at lease 6 to nine weeks, depending upon her beharior.   This ought to really be a wonderful holiday season around her.

I just put a new charge of lumber into the kiln on Sunday, after being gone for four days to a state wide conference for fireboard directors and 4 days before that fsor the country soil and water board.

Its time to slow down Frank!

Good luck on your surgery and let Alice know she too is in our prayers.

The cutting for the both of us was successfull.   I have at leasst another week before I can be around any sawdust, due to wood haveing any kind of fungus to get into the opening around my eye surgery.  If that were to happen, there would be nothing the doctors could do to prevent blindness from occuring.  That thought brought me to my knees to not puch the evelope until the doctor said it was ok to do so.  I am about the crawl the walls and trees around here, for not being able to work.  The dr. did raise the bar for lifting restriction, from20 to 50 pounds.  Whoopie!

I know how miserable I would be to have to not go into the mill but listen to the Docs Frank.  Can't mess with your eyesight.  There's plenty of saw time once they've healed - Good luck.  Just cruise the net and look at wood to get by! ::)

Well, I am back at it.  Sawed several hundred feet yesterday, afternoon.  Sawing again this morning.  I just came in for the chocolate chip cookies.  I have about 20 small logs to complete, for a fella that is building a cabin, about 20 miles away.

I am really feeling better, now that I can make sawdust and run my chainsaws.
