My guess is that the machine could haul it but he was moving forward and started a right hand turn which changed the center of gravity and and when it started to lift he hit the breaks and the forward momentum put him on his nose.

EASY on the down lever!!!!! ::)

I use a bucket loader with forks in my operation.  They are fantastic and can really twist around tight areas but you have to be very alert to the center of gravity with that bucket.  Just a couple feet too high and you're going for a ride - as evidenced!

yep i did the same thing more than once hauling 2 cars at the same time in my junk yard days. but those old 60 early 70s cars where heavy. and like the man said easy down, and a little lower and slower till the next time

The most amazing part of this pic is the lack of broken / leaking hydraulic hoses.

At a mill in Jasper we retrieved wood in ravines at this angle with a 966 cat.
