My new toy!
« on: January 01, 2009, 11:43:31 AM »
I have to pick it up in Chicago next week or have my brother pick it up for me but I could not pass up the deal.

It's brand new, never used and still on the shipping crate.  The guy who purchased it said he cant get 220v to his garage for less than $800 so he is selling it.

Congratulations Kirk. Steel City has some of their products in this months wood magazine. They got a pretty good write-up and shoptest results were pretty good. They offer a line of granite topped machines as well. Their equipment looks good and solid and definately heavy.

Frank, I think they are out of Tennesee but not sure if they are made in the US or imported.

Dan, from what I have read the feedback puts them in front of the Delta saws. Looking forward to getting it.
