Ugly Log
« on: January 22, 2008, 05:28:25 PM »
;D Hi All, This was an ulgy Oak log and a pain in the back side. Had to use the boomtruck to load it with.  It made some real pretty wood though.  :-*

Impressive..so where are the pictures of the boards? BTW, we are changing to a larger server, so we will have full gallery ability...right now, the picture file is limited.

I saw that kind all the time.  Help me understand why you did not lay the log the other way to get the better crotch pattern?

Probably a trim cut first and since its a bandmill he can then turn it to get crotch wood :)
