What if...? Tax protest 2008/9
« on: February 11, 2009, 12:45:27 PM »
What if everybody that was due a refund from the IRS filed as soon as they could?

And what if everybody that owed taxes filed for a 90 day extension?

Those that have to pay estimated taxes pay the minimum to avoid penalties and then file for the extension.

Could we send a message to Congress?  Suppose it would do any good?

You could send the message, but they would not respond how you would expect.  they would develop some  sort of regulation for the IRS that would stop you and a fine to boot.
