Take lots of pictures.  Memory can get real iffy on the fine points.

Stephen it was sweet gum. Man is that some nice looking lumber. The white oak logs I cut in 3rds with the chain saw and milled 4/4 for flooring. Now I got to dry it all for him and then bring it all back.

Got an email back from Corley MFG and they said the mill was made well prior to 1946  :o

They are sending me copies of all the literature they have on it including set instructions and parts lists.

Looks like I now have a lot of local interest with people wanting to see the mill in operation.  So much so that several have offered to help get it set back up :)

I wonder what city slickers would pay to come watch an old fashion sawmill operation, hand feed chickens & Geese, and maybe even milk a cow!

Allen's Agritourism!  ;D

I go back to pick up the first load Wed. of this week. Once I get it unloaded the only thing left to go get is going to be the track and all the blocks they sit on!

Still conteplating where to set this puppy at here ;D

Now you just have to find a steam engine to run the mill.  Wood burner for sure.  Price of admission just went up.

I just got an email from Corley Service Department and they let me know they sent a packet of information on my mill and said it should help in the set up.

I am hoping its copies of the origninal literature because the last time I spoke with them they said those were all still available.

We got it all loaded on the trailer in 1 hour except for the track.  Not bad all things considered. I got it all unloaded at my place and I will go back in the morning to pick up the track and the stack of lumber!

And for those who might recognize the trailer, YES, its the trailer that "COULD" despite all the naysayers who said it would never work.   :o 8) ;D :D

Next to my mill I think this trailer is the second best investment.  Home built for just my purpose!   ;D

Legal limit is 15K :police: :D

We went back today and got the track and lumber loaded.  Now I just have to figure out where on earth to put the track at my place.  ::)

You might want to keep it on the trailer until you decide its location. ;D

You might have to purchase a selfloader, one of these days.

I wonder if the collar nut was too tight? The collar is an integral part of the blades performance and about 75% of a guys problems with what seems to be tension have to do with the collar being  not set up right(machined).
Looks like a fine set up I am really happy for ya, and you will enjoy running it too!!
