Wood Mizer Accuset 2
« on: February 04, 2008, 10:36:45 AM »
I got a new control box and computer board Friday for the upgraded Accuset 2 computer set works.  I have had a beta version that works great and I guess all the bugs have been worked out, which were only a couple that I found.

Way to go WM!

Thanks for the update...I'd just been reading in a lot of places how everyone was having so much trouble with their Accuset.
Well...I guess you heard it first here that they're back up N runnin' again.
Are they selling those little umbrellas to put over the seat as well now with the cup holders and Bose' sound system headphones  ;D

Not sure what you have read elsewhere but I have never had any major problems with my Accuset.  They continue to upgrade and tweak and for the last 6 years I have been nothing but pleased with mine.

I finally got the new board installed today. Not 5 minutes after I finished one of our firefighters stopped by needing another dozen boards but he needed them 5" instead of the standard 5 1/2" .

Threw them up and had them cut in 5 minutes and all was perfect.  The new boad and brain box took all of about 10 minutes to install and that counted re-programing it for my mumbers.

Now mike, as far as that fan goes, I think I will have that one up and running when I get the roof for the saw shed done.  I have a 6 foot ventilation fan that I think is going to work quite well.  ;D

I have an acuset for my MD mill as well.  However, it has been known to wander from time to time.   I simply have to adjust to the differing circumstance and it come right back on track.  The one on my shoulders.
