Todays Kill
« on: February 06, 2008, 04:16:32 PM »
;D Hi All, check out these bartop / bench tops or sliced down the middle for two, rather thin mantles. they have one live edge. Running them on Craigs list around Charlotte NC. They usually go pretty quick.  ;)

Hey, WB, those are great looking Walnut slabs.  Being bookmatched would have me charging a higher price, for sure.

 Well ya got me wonder'n my self now. Look how much sap wood there is? It looks like red oak in the log and it looks like RO sawn as well, but all that sapwood makes me wonder? You can see the rays in the sapwood too. there are 1 or 2 slabs of this that is 100% quarter sawn (Naturaly), you can see the rays through out the whole plank.  ;D BTW I didn't know Frank was from the west coast, Ya'll talk funny   I recon I do too

Dang Dudes, how long I'm gonna be NEW???
