I know this happened a few days ago, but I was over at my handloadersbench forum and had one of those 'Oh crap!' moments!

What really puzzles me about the ruling, which 4 out of the 9 don't understand what the 2nd Amendment says, and why it was put in there?  Are they just completely stupid, or so full of themshelf?

This is an interview from a newspaper:
Quote
Interviewer: What do you think of the Supreme Court's Handgun Ruling?

Interviewee: I think it only increases the risk that I will be a victim of Gun Violence.

Interviewer: What do you plan to do about that?

Interviewee: Well I'm certainly going to stop breaking into people's houses...

Seems that someone will be impacted by the Chicago gun ban been thrown out!

Stevens, Bryer, Ginsburg, Sania Satamayor, and DONT forget it was Stamayor that testified under oath that she supported the 2nd ammendment and would defend peoples 2nd ammendment rights during here confirmation hearings.

SHE LIED UNDER OATH and should be charged with perjury!

Perjury would be great!  But remember, these people think they are the law...so they're above all of the piddly kind of stuff.  But if it were you or I we'd already be under the bus to be made an example of.

My guess would be the city of Chicago will just make it harder for the law fearing individual to obtain firearms for protection.  Long waits to take 'classes' to be 'trained' to use a single, under-powered bean shooter that isn't good for anything.  And after all the classes that 'shows your trained', I see another class to obtain the ammunition.

In this world, seconds matter and the police are only minutes away!

Down here, it's all about money.

I checked with the local Poleese, and they gave me a number to call. Seems you have to go through a GUN DEALER (Armorer) to get the permit. Costs $55.00.  To do this, you send in the application, ($35.00). Then, you go to classes (4), at $35.00 for the classes.

Then, you send in that $55.00, and wait forever, to see IF you get the permit. NO REFUNDS  :o :o

I told the moroon, I will just attack the nearest Bandit, take HIS unregistered gun, shoot HIM, then look for others. Guy had this "Deer in the Headlights" look.  :o :o  Then, my wife told him that I was a Combat veteran from the 'Nam war.

Guy says, ------ this'll kill ya,

"We need HIM to teach the classes".  I told the moroon, it's easier to just kill the bandit and take HIS gun. No papers required. Gave him the "S##t eatin grin, and walked out.  ;D ;D

Harold it's always got something to do with monies.

We used to have 'open carry' here in Arkansas.  The qualifications were one of three things needed, 'being on a journey', 'having a large quantity of currency', or 'traveling outside the normal route'.  Pretty easy to meet any of those things...for anyone.  But someone had the bright idea of 'concealed carry'....now that requires a 'class'($95-$125 all depends on whom you get the class from) and a 'background check'($45-last I heard, could have gone up).  And even with all that, there are a lot of businesses that will not allow you to carry in their place of business...and of course any government(city, state, county, federal) building.  BTW, the last bunch is where most of the criminals are!!!

The forefather knew exactly why the citizens need to be armed.  It's the only reason this isn't a completely socialist government today.  But with the Progressive/Liberals/or whatever they choose to call themselves now...we're on the way, one law at a time.

Arrows?  I hunt with a bow, but I know better then to bring one to a gun fight....hehehehe!  Seems there is a bunch of jokes about knives to a gun fight, but not that many about bows and gun fights.  Guess maybe when the Native Americans roamed freely in this country there might have been a few jokes along those lines?

I've always wondered why the US Supreme Court people were selected for life....  I would think it would lead to more coruption in decisions then someone worried about what the're going to do in 10 years when they have to live with the laws they've interpeted?
