Old planer identity

Hello....just purchased this old planer....it's 24" but not a name or model number anywhere....anyone out there know what it might be? ....it's very well built and I bought it pretty reasonable for 350....

Yeah that's what I thought too...was thinking 350 was a fair buy....gonna put it with my mill....I have have an extra w25 allis chalmers power unit that I'll run with the flat belt

Looks like an old Bellsaw Planer.  I had one I sold to a member years ago.

Congrats on your new purchase! Sounds like a solid find for $350. If there's no visible name or model number, maybe check for any distinctive features or markings. You could also try posting some pictures here, and the community might be able to help identify it. Happy planning!
