Sometimes,I think it is time to change directions....perhaps,since I don't get to mill often, I should sell the Meadows and get a bandmill....portable, that when I have a few hours, it would be far easier to crank up an air cooled engine and saw a log. It can be a hassle getting the Hercules engine fired up, and everything set up, when time is so limited. Brian, at sawmillexchange.com said the market is great right now.....so I am considering it.

I will never let you live that one down :D

Yes you will....I might even sell you my Meadows....... ;D

Now we are talking. :D

Ya, right, Kirk. You have time for another mill, just like I have time for the 3 or 4 I have around here. Woops, only three now. It is always fun to have such dreams.
Jay, you ought to keep the Meadows and get the other mill.

Well Frank, you are probably right, but, I have a new home to build, and the coffers are not exactly overflowing with funds. This winter has been a tough one on the construction trades around here, due to weather. I have access to my buddy's mill, but I would like to have one a little more portable, as I have permission to cut as many red cedars as I want to mess with out by the river.....of course, I have enough ERC milled now to last a few more winters of woodworking projects.....so what's a guy to do? :D

Buy the second mill! I had four up until a year ago, January. I still have three and only use two.

The bandmills are nice - crank the pressure down, start the engine and saw!

Jay, I merely start the engine, crank up the rpms to full, set the dimension and saw.
