WOW, is all I can say with the results from an OLD 48" diameter White Oak log I cut last week. While I had to widdle it down to make it happen, the results are most pleasing!
I have never gotten such wide boards with the most amazing flecking throughout the whole length.
These boards are 14 inches wide.

Finally finished cutting up the white oak logs I have had for several years. My primary focus was to get as much quartersawn lumber as possible. This stack represents 12-foot, 10-foot, 8-9, foot, and 5-foot boards of quartersawn lumber. This will go into my new building to dry so it can be used on future woodworking projects I intend on completing.............. after I finish building my shop!

Lots of work and time to make a nice stickered stack. Not many in the world know just how much. Good deal!
