Title: How much does a timber harvester 30ht25?
Post by: Steve G. on June 17, 2008, 06:53:41 AM
Hello,

I am wondering if any of you know how much a timber harvester 30ht25 sawmill weighs? I need to tow it for about an hour and need to decide what to tow it with. Thanks,

Steve

i don't know the weights on that but i'm sure one of them car haulin trailers should work......or are you talking what can pull one? if thats the case my parents neighbor builds mills in his shop and he tows his with a little ford ranger, i'm sure if its blacktop you could pull one of them with a mid size car if ya had to? but i don't own one myself so don't go by what i say  ;)

hehe, that's funny, we were gonna' tow it with our ranger - except we have rough terrain so we'll do it with our f250.

If you have an F250 why would you even think about towing with something smaller?

My motto, Go Big or stay home!  ;D

Cuz' our 250 is at a different locaton than the sawmill and it wasn't wired for a trailer kit when I posted this... I finished wiring it on monday for brakes and lights. It's a 1992, so I had to hardwire it.
