Cam across a level like I've nere seen
24" Stanley carpenters level made of cast iron with brass bubble protector that spun around the glass tubes for protection during storage/transport. In aboslout perfect working order. Almost felt like workout equipment.

Sounds neat. I have never heard of one like that.

Steve.........you can keep my scrench. I'll be over for the level
If it is as you describe ...........I'll show you an advertisement for it.

Show me, please. It belongs to grandma.
It does need a little paint and the rust knocked offbut that's its only problem. I used it monday leveling some floor joist.

The old cast iron ones are sure built to last. I started out carpentry 20 years ago with an old cast iron sands level. I remember the inscription on it"Sands levels are built ot last". That was no joke!
