End Grain Osage Cutting Board

(1/3) > >>

Kirk Allen:
I made this cutting board for my Mom last Christams.  I used Osage Orange and it is end grain!

A close up of the grain.

Frank Pender - AKA "Tail Gunner":
Ihave seen those pictures, some place before?

Kirk Allen:
I had them in my gallery on the Forestry Forum. I was finally able to recover them the other day.

Aunt B:
Okay...so how do you put the pieces together for this?

HaroldCR - AKA Fla.-Deadheader:

Very carefully.

I made a center counter that my wife can move around the kitchen, using Oloche' end grain blocks, and, Tamarindo, edge all around. Ojoche' shrunk, and the Tamarindo edge has spaces in it. Wife just stores "STUFF" on it, anyway.  ::) ::)
