 If that link is about teachers carrying, I surely hope they are given sufficient training in using against another person.  I have seen people freeze while being fired on. It ain't pretty.

All the training in the world wont ensure they still don't freeze when being fired on and your right, that ain't pretty!  Sadly some of our best trained troops freeze in a fire fight. 

Just the presence of an armed resistance is what led to an mall shooter putting the gun to his head and taking his own life.  When he saw an armed citizen coming towards him or aiming at him it was enough to convince him he was done.  The citizen never fired a shot.

The probability that that school district will ever have a shooter just went down to near zero.  There will never be any "proof" that allowing, not arming, the teachers will be a deterrent.

A bill was passed in Arkansas giving 'facility the ability to carry', but then the socialist school systems started passing rule(s) that keeps the 'facility' from carrying!

Remember, police officers don't carry firearms to protect you.  They carry firearms to protect themselves.....
