Fans for Kiln
« on: August 30, 2014, 10:41:19 PM »
Hey everybody. My future kiln location is 1/4 mile away from the nearest power. I am looking for suggestions for fans. I can run them with solar panels, is an option. Or wind. Any suggestions are welcome. Budget is always a concern!!
Thanks.

I don't have any specs. but I have cut for a guy in Michigan that ran several fans on solar panel.  Worked great for him.

I just read an old post by Carl Middleton. He mentioned using solar powered fans in his kiln. Claimed they worked good. Carl, if you are around please feel free to ring in. I would be interested in the size, brand, source, etc. Thanks.
