I actually think you could use a two man buck saw and cut lumber faster than that thing did. 

My wife and I watched it and got a kick out of the girl who was filming it.  Her reactions to some things was stupid comedy.

 They just need to bump the govermint a bit, and tighten the belt a bit, and sharpen them teeth a bit, and saw a bit----faster.  ;D :laugh:

  That engine never did kick the govermint up any  ::)

That reminds me of a line from an old book, something about how the saw was so slow, the sawyer would start sawing a log, and he'd go catch a fish or take a nap and come back to see what affect the saw had on the log.  I was hoping that belt was going to pop off and teach the commentator a lesson!

It beats a pit saw but not by much. Seems on the older mills power was the lim iting factor. They would be much better off with a good sized farm tractor. Frank C.
