When I got to this last section of roofing I was baffled as to why the top was only 14" to the edge and the bottom was 20" to the edge.  Up to this point, everything was square.  I racked my brain trying to figure out what I screwed up and it was not until I pulled out the long tape that I figured it out.

The original building was only the north half of the old building pic.  The south side was built at a later date.  While I used the same foundation and some footer repairs, I assumed the length on the north side foundation was the same as the south.

Wrong answer.  The south side foundation was 6" longer than the north.  I guess back in 1901 they didn't much care about a chicken barn being square.  I had to trim a piece
to custom fit and then cheat a bit on the corner metal to hide the fact it did not follow a straight line of roofing on that west end piece.

Closing up the west end!

North side almost done with siding.  The dirty sheet on the left was covered in weeds from sitting out as the top sheet all summer.

No, got that in early November.  Had to take a break from the building work.

I assume you can now see all the pics?

Are you referring to the discussion on the problem with pics?
Sorry I have been away for a while.  Just saw your question post.  Your thread is about your build and it almost seems as if the issue with the pictures that could not be seen and that you resolved, in my mind kind of screwed up a really great thread on your structure build.  Call it a thread hi-jack if you will.  I was just suggesting that maybe a little clean up of my posts and your responses would leave your great "build thread" cleaner and not garbaged up with extraneous stuff.  Kind of like this post.  I am the guilty party and I feel as if I trashed your great thread.  I should have posted the picture issue in a separate thread even though it happened in this one.  My apologies.
