Who believes?
« on: August 28, 2023, 06:53:42 AM »
Remember the term 'peak oil"? That was tossed out in the 70s saying the end of fossil fuels is near....and also, the new ice age was coming....and the ozone hole that cost American consumers (no where else in the world) to pay for a complete change to refrigeration? Mexico still uses R12 and R13....as does everyone else....guess they don't have an ozone hole.

Yep, I remember all that crap.  And I also can't agree with you more......follow the money!  We've been lied to for so many decades now it's hard to know where it started.  I think it probably started with our first president's term.  Politics have always attracted the worst sort of sociopaths.  I'm not saying George Washington was.  In fact I think he was very hesitant to take the roll but was elected so he stepped up for his new country yet again.

Thomas Jefferson warned of the dangers when public officials could vote themselves money from public funds (not quoting this exactly) and of course, when he was broke, he sold his library to the Government to bail himself out....knowing this, it is difficult to ever believe that there has been anyone truly interested in public service for the good of the nation. Eisenhower warned of the military industrial complex, and how it would dominate government spending, and look what Vietnam produced. 5,000 helicopters lost at a million each, 58,000 lives, and a few trillion gone.....gone into the pockets of those selling the honor of fighting for a broken promise.

Yes, I know that sounds less then patriotic, but I have an Uncle's name on the Wall...panel 25e, Capt Edward L Goucher, and he gave his life for this "cause".  All for a lie.

Now, millions and millions of citizens will be trying to make it heating their homes and feeding their families for the purpose of supporting the corruption and foreign aid to Ukraine.

Everyone needs to talk to anyone they can about the importance of voting, and try and make a difference.

Voting does not appear to matter anymore.  The system is so rigged it is sick.  In Illinois they got caught breaking the law clear as a bell and what did they do?  They changed the law to make what was a crime before perfectly legal now. ZERO accountability and the real losers in the election are now in office!
Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching!

Thank God I live in Oklahoma. You must have valid ID to vote, you mark a paper ballot, it is scanned, and the ballot is kept for months after all elections. There are never questions about Oklahoma elections, except: When ballot  questions are not clearly worded, or explained.
