You reach a place in life, where life itself is not the most important thing. The decisions made when we have years and decades of life to look forward to are much different than being in the final years ( I hope I live a while longer) and facing decisions that have consequences. If a man follows my granddaughter into a restroom, then I may make a decision that isn't about my future, but will assure my little girl's safety. If some clown wants to play road rage with me and try and drag me out of my truck to fist fight, well....25 years ago, he wouldn't need to ask, I would oblige but being an old guy now, I would use deadly force without worrying about the consequences..
And when the government comes around to force jabs, or take my money, or seize my guns....that is, if I had any...well...some things are worth making a stand on....the last stand.
