I kind of see a change in what people have for priorities anymore. I belong to a few machinist forums, and it seems after a few years, nothing new is discussed, people are not interacting online as much, and less time is spent even looking when social media dominates.
I am a past president of the Oklahoma State Home Builders, and quit in 2018 because I saw no value for my time and gained nothing from my time spent in the organization....I would rather be at home in the evenings than going to a dinner and general meeting. Maybe a sign of aging? I used to be in the Lion's Club....same. I have other things to do than spend time in a civic club. Not saying I don't support civic causes, just not where I need to be directly involved. Rotary, Civitans, Lions, Odd Fellows....all suffer the same fate.
I even find i do not post as much content about my construction work on facebook as I used to....
Old age and being that old cranky guy is doing me in, lol.
