Only us old folks.  With all the new social media crap, facebook, Instagram, twitter, etc,  forums are becoming a thing of the past it seams.
Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching!

I kind of see a change in what people have for priorities anymore.  I belong to a few machinist forums, and it seems after a few years, nothing new is discussed, people are not interacting online as much, and less time is spent even looking when social media dominates.

I am a past president of the Oklahoma State Home Builders, and quit in 2018 because I saw no value for my time and gained nothing from my time spent in the organization....I would rather be at home in the evenings than going to a dinner and general meeting.  Maybe a sign of aging?  I used to be in the Lion's Club....same. I have other things to do than spend time in a civic club. Not saying I don't support civic causes, just not where I need to be directly involved.  Rotary, Civitans, Lions, Odd Fellows....all suffer the same fate.

I even find i do not post as much content about my construction work on facebook as I used to....

Old age and being that old cranky guy is doing me in, lol.

Kind of funny, but I rented a plane a few months back, a Cessna 172. A plane that I have a few hundred hours of pilot in command time and not a complex airplane.  I was so behind the curve flying it, I decided after landing that my time in the air is over. I just wasn't comfortable with the feeling, and while not overwhelmed, I could see me getting there quickly.  So I decided to fly no more....as pilot. I will go right side for a friend, but no solo pilot in command.

I don't think old timers is there yet, but I know I just am not as sharp as I used to be. And helicopters? No flipping way would I try one today.
