sign for Maylasia
« on: September 07, 2008, 09:40:20 PM »
I got the sign routed out for the son in Maylasia, this afternoon.  I used my homemade stroke sander for the final sanding.   I am planning on using tongue oil for the finish, since there is a great deal of humidity in Maylasia.  I have never used that kind of finish and was wonder if there is a special kind or make of such a finish?  All suggestions gladly received.

Several coats of oil then multiple coats of wax.  Use 00 Steal wool between each oiling and again between the waxing. The finish should turn out beutiful!
