The pressure cooker idea coupled with a compressor from an old refrigerator might be the trick Mike. We use old compressors to pull down refrigerant systems, and by simply hooking the suction line to the pipe connection where the pop off valve was, I bet it would work like a breeze.
You might want to put a timer of some sort on it, to cycle the compressor/vacuum pump......my next thought would be the electricity this thing would use....will you get enough from the blanks to cover the cost of drying?
